The exchange of experience remains a vital component of international cooperation—especially when it encompasses academic and scientific dimensions that contribute to enhancing knowledge in areas fundamental to the functioning of police institutions. Such was the nature of a recent week-long visit by a representative of the Police Academy in Szczytno to a partner institution in Turkey.
As every year, a group of students from the Police Academy of Lower Saxony in Rothenburg visited the Police Academy in Szczytno. On 5-8 May, 2025, we hosted a group of Erasmus+ scholarships from the German academy, accompanied by Colonel Jacek Ruliński, who also served as an interpreter.
As part of the International Cadet's Week 2025 organized at the Lithuanian Police School in Kaunas on 14-18 April, 2025, students from the Police Academy in Szczytno had the opportunity to learn about the training and educational system for Lithuanian police officers. The program included a visit to the Kaunas Police Station, where the functioning of the command center, notification system and procedures for conducting search operations were presented.
On 7-11 April, 2025, students of Criminology and Police Science, under the Erasmus+ mobility program, participated in a student traineeship at the University of Applied Science for the Federal State of Baden-Württemberg Police, held in Villingen-Schwenningen.
With regard to the quality of the implementation of international cooperation programs, Ms. Anna Ćwiklińska of the European Integration and International Cooperation Team, the Academy's Erasmus+ program coordinator, participated in the training course entitled: “Efficient and effective project management for EU funded projects” organized by ShipCon Palermo on 24-28 March, 2025.
From 17-21 March, 2025, students of Police Science, under the Erasmus+ mobility program, participated in the so-called Blended Intensive Program at the Polizeiakademie Niedersachsen, held in Oldenburg.
